Happy 2008!

First of all can you believe it's 2008? Happy 2008 to everyone....hope everyone had a safe and eventful New Years. As for this post I'm playing a little catch up. We went to Walnut Creek's outdoor ice rink last week. The ice wasn't as smooth, but that didn't stop Riley from taking off. I was able to take video of him on the ice as he passed all the adults holding the wall.

The stats are in! The winner is RILEY! We had our big race yesterday with our remote control cars. Unfortunately, we had some technical difficulty. Riley's frequency from his remote either takes over and he starts driving his and our cars or it stops ours from working at all. So Riley wins by default, but a win is a win.



It's Catch Phrase Wednesday! Riley's going through a "magic" phase right now. He keeps saying that everythings magical or that he's magic.

*On New Years Eve Riley was explaining to his Aunt Janelle that the reason that he
had to eat so much chocolate was because it was magic to his throat. His throat
has been sore for a couple days and apparently the chocolate was magic and made it
feel better.

*Yesterday he was hitting a soft hockey stick against his smart cycle that he got
for Christmas. Josh told him to stop and that he should be so grateful that he got
the bike from Santa that he should be cleaning it. Riley's response was "I don't
have to clean it because the dust that gets on it is Santa's magic dust that
suppose to be there."
