Oh Where Oh Where Has Riley Gone?

HE'S STILL HERE!

With Riley being in school a majority of the time he kind of gets left out of things.
Don't get me wrong....the things he does get to do are AWESOME, but everyone doesn't get to see them.

He got to go to his 1st professional football game on 8/20/11.
Grandpa John (my dad) took him & they rode the bus all the way to Candlestick Park.
There was a horrible accident on the freeway so it took them 3 hours to get to the game.
Riley said "Grandpa said next time we'll just take the motorcycle".
San Francisco 49ers vs Oakland Raiders.
Riley was torn who he should root for since Josh is a Raider fan.

Riley told Josh & I all the interesting things he saw at the game including the drunk that got mad at the relish.

He said there was a guy that was walking past the condiment bar, looked over & said "I hate Relish" & then proceeded to throw the relish against the wall.
Riley said "He was dumb. Why would you get mad at Relish? I like relish."

He loves spending time with his dad
& if its something cool like going to look at race cars that just sprinkles on the cake.

He's in 3rd grade.
9/7/11

They are so much like their Grandpa Phillips.
(9/28)

He gets to go places with my dad on his motorcycle.
Their longest ride was from our house to Sonoma.
(This picture is not from that ride)

(Just for documenting, the first time that Riley went for a long motorcycle ride we didn't really know about it. We knew he was going to the Infineon Raceway with my dad, but he got picked up in a car.  They then went back to my parent's & got on the motorcycle (not that my dad was being sneaky....it's just the way things happened). We found out about it when Riley got home & started talking about how tired he was & how long of a drive that is on the back of a MOTORCYCLE! Josh kind of freaked, but my dad has been driving motorcycles for a long time so I know his driving skills are above par. I'm still glad I found out afterwards though.)

He gets to go to air shows with my dad.

He is a great big brother.
Chase looks up to him a lot & its a hard role to play, but he does it well
for a 9-year old with a 2-year old little brother.
(The picture on the right is the two of them after they were throwing dirt at each other.)
10/21

He finished his 2nd soccer season.
They were the Phoenixes.
(10/29)

He has glasses now.
12/22

Is starting to loose some teeth.
This is only his third tooth to fall out (top left).
12/15
Lost the next one (top right) on the way to Utah on 12/26

Loves to work out with me & is getting pretty good with pullups.
