Normally Chase is a wild child, but there are these sweet moments where I can see his softer side.

He had the scriptures open, arms folded, eyes closed & was saying a prayer.

Chase loves Small Potatoes.
His favorite is the Moon Baby episode.
I love that he sings it.
(Sorry for the messy room....I just had a baby is my excuse)

He's a little obsessed with hockey.

No stick or puck?

No problem.

A wood stick & block of wood will work just fine too.

He played this for at least an hour & then Grandpa Phillips joined in the game.

Chase got very vocal yelling "Get it outta there!"

As I've said before he is a worker & a helper.

Here he is helping Grandpa Phillips use the blower to blow out a filter.

He actually helped Grandpa so much one day

that he got kinda sick from it because he wasn't wearing a mask & breathed in a lot of dust.

Who would've thought?

Chase didn't like having to sit still & so he would give me this mean look when I would tell him to sit still.

Chase & Riley now share a room & Chase sleeps on the bottom bunk.

Potty training & wearing pullups has started.

He is not pooping on the toilet yet, but peeing has been a success.

He is also counting like crazy.

1/26- While walking through Walmart, Chase just counted from 1-10 out of the blue.

We did have a little scare regarding diabetes.

He was showing some symptoms but after some tests everything came back normal.

(Trying telling a kid that is in the middle of potty training that it's okay to pee in a bag & not the toilet)

He enjoyed all the juice boxes he got.

This kid almost always wears a hat.

Its almost weird not to see him with one on.

Once Daxton was born Chase just grew up. 

Here he is "working" on a church lesson for Grandpa Phillips.
