Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent with the Phillips side of the family this year and we had a great time. It was nice to see most of the family all together again and talk and laugh about good times. We filled our tummies with lots of good food and then filled them again later on. Riley loved the Christmas story that the Phillips family does (this was the first year that he really got to do it.) Riley got a bowling set and a "Cars" blanket and pillow. He's been bowling everyday so far and loves to sleep with the blanket and pillow when he takes his naps. Overall, it was a great night.

Josh and I also started a new tradition this year for our little family. We delivered a box of See's candy of to a police officer that was on duty on Christmas Eve that patrols our neighborhood. We know how much of a sacrifice it is to work on holidays and we also know that we will have to be in that position for the next couple of years. We had such a good feeling after giving the gift that we decided that from now on we would do that every year.
