Skating Lessons
Riley came to me last week and told me that he wanted a hockey stick and puck for his birthday. My response to him was "You can have a hockey stick and puck when you learn how to skate". So we called up the Phillips 2 fam and asked about lessons. Today Riley started his 1st lesson to learn to skate. He is in the "snowball" class. They worked on falling safely, getting up, marching in place & forward, and putting your hands on your knees when you feel like you may fall. Riley did pretty well (just has to work on getting up by himself after falling) and can't wait for next weeks class.

Looking good riley. I miss the ice. We have several ice rinks but never go. I guess i will need to change that. Keep up the good work.
Way to go Riley, This brings back memories of when your dad had his first lessons, while he was skating at one end of the rink Grandpa was coaching Uncle Drew at the other end.
