Fleet Week

Today we went to San Francisco for Fleet Week with my parents. We were able to get there and find a perfect spot on a little hill by the water before the parade of the Naval ships came under the Golden Gate Bridge. After the ships Josh, Riley and I headed over to a small museum and were able to watch some planes doing some tricks and the helicopters on the way back. Riley was able to practice riding his bike and he thought it was very cool that Grandpa John and him had the same color bikes. The boys wrestled and shot rockets with the rocket launcher for a while and then the jets came. They were incredible! Riley enjoyed it, but had to cover his ears from the noise. We did have a small visitor...a gopher, pop up which kept Riley very entertained. The best part of the day was when the Navy Blue Angels came. The things they are able to do going at that speed....amazing! Riley and I ended up taking a nap while waiting for the line of exiting cars to fade away. It was a great day in the city and we couldn't have asked for better weather!
