Relaxing Holiday Recaps

All I asked for Mother's Day was a relaxing picnic with Josh & the boys.

We had to celebrate it late due to me being busy with PTA things that weekend.

We finally celebrated it during Father's Day weekend which turned out great (killed 2 birds with 1 stone).

We headed to Hap Maggi Park on a perfect day.

We found a nice shady spot by the creek & the play structures & enjoyed our food.

Then the boys ran off & played.

                                              The teeter-toter was a big hit with the boys.

Chase obviously doesn't weigh anything close to Riley so Josh helped them out.

Everyone had fun & it was exactly how Josh & I wanted to spend our "parent days".

For 4th of July we woke up & ate some yummy Red, White &  Blue Pancakes that I made.

The blue pancakes turned out more purplish than blue but everyone got the point.

And they were yummy so that's what matters.

Later in the afternoon we made our way over to Josh's parent's home to play on the waterslide.

&play with some sparklers.
