Labor Day

We decided that it was too nice of a day to sit around the house so we headed over to Alameda. We ended up finding a Navy base while looking for the beach and Riley really enjoyed looking at the jets. We finally found the beach, Crab Cove, where we ended up buying and enjoying some frozen yogurt while hanging out. After the beach we decided to stop by the Oakland Temple and walk around the grounds. No one was there and it was completely quiet and peaceful. We walked into the visitor center that we haven't been in for a while and enjoyed the new artifacts that they had on display. We were so glad to have the day to spend together...Josh was in dire need for a 3-day weekend and some quality family time.
