Richmond Point/Bay with the Newmans

A couple of weekends ago we went to Richmond Point with some friends, The Newmans, to get away from the heat. We found a great playground for the kids to play on while the adults chatted. After a while we went and sat on a picnic table in the shade. The Newmans had brought one of those strollers that can be attached to a bike or just pushed. Their son Keefer had gotten in it & it started to roll down a hill. Dan was there to save him, but he was not a happy camper. Riley on the other hand thought it was the greatest thing ever. He asked to be pushed down the hill and so we did. He pretended to be Indiana Jones. He went down the hill over and over again.

We finally walked down to the water and the kids enjoyed throwing rocks in the water.

Riley asked me about a sign in the water and I explained to him that it read No Dogs Allowed in Water. The next thing I knew he was up to his thighs in the water because he wanted to go touch it. I was so excited @ Bass Lake that he was willing to go in the water, but now he's freakin' me out.
All in all it was a great day and we introduced the Newmans to Salsa Taqueria @ dinner.

Oh, I see how it is... your all tight with the Newman's now. It's because of the whole Sherrif-Sherrif thing isn't it! Well, just wait until Chris is in the fire department Newmans! Then we'll see!
